Charity Yoga Summer School
I’m delighted to be part of this year’s annual charity yoga summer school organised by my inspirational friend Denise Walters (https://www.smallworldyoga.co.uk).
The sessions take place on Thursday 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st August from 7pm to 8.15pm at Water Orton Primary School, Plank Lane, Water Orton B46 1SG. Each session costs £5 (but feel free to donate more!) and all the money raised goes to charity.
This wonderful summer school has been running in various forms for over 30 years and since 2005 alone it has raised nearly £10000 for charity. Yoga teachers from around the Midlands are invited to teach one of the sessions, with all donations from their attendees going to their chosen charities.
This year, I’ll be guiding the session on Thursday 24th August. If you’re free, please come and support this fantastic event. We’ll enjoy some mindful movement, meditation, breath work and a lovely relaxation too. You will need to bring a yoga mat and any other yoga equipment that you like to use (a blanket always comes in handy and, if you have them, a couple of yoga bricks).
If you can’t make it on 24th August, do try to join us on one of the other dates, when you’ll be able to enjoy a fabulous yoga session with Denise, a nurturing Yoga Nidra from Cath Hussey (Soul Yoga) or a beautiful Sound Bath from Sophie Rogers (https://www.highvibealignment.com).
